What is STi?
STi is the motosport arm of
Subaru, similar to RalliArt for Misubishi and TRD for Toyota.
STi specialises in the preparation of a variety of vehicles for
rallies such as the World Rally Championship. In recent years,
the WRC has been predominantly won by the heavily modified STi
555 Impreza, beating many of its rivals such as the Mitsubishi
Lancer Evolution.
What parts are available
from STi?
Almost anything you can name!
From suspension parts to clothing, STi carries a large variety
of items, all of which can be viewed at its website.
However, please note that some of the sections are in Japanese
only, so unless you understand Japanese, these sections might
not provide much information to you.
Which models does STi supply
parts for?
Mainly the Subaru Impreza WRX,
Forester and Legacy. STi parts for the Vivio are rare, although
some workshops claim to be able to source these parts for customers.
Beware though, because some workshops claim that they are able
to import STi lowered springs for the Vivio, but in actual fact
the items are old coil springs from a Toyota Corolla, cut down
to fit and resprayed red to resemble STi springs.
